Job Description - Careers and Employability Coach

Job Title: Careers and Employability Coach
Contract: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + Inset Days + 5 additional days.
Salary: CLF 10 (£33,450 - £37,129)
Actual Salary: £29,380 per annum
Start Date – September 2024
We are looking for a Careers and Employability Coach to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Brunel Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
Bristol Brunel Academy is a forward-thinking Academy based in Speedwell, Bristol, rated “Good” by Ofsted in 2023.  We are consistently over-subscribed in every year group and have been expanding numbers on roll each year making it one of the largest secondary schools in the city. The students are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic leader that will build sustainable business partnerships that create employability opportunities for our young people. The role will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a forward-thinking careers curriculum that incorporates a breadth of university and widening participation programmes for Bristol Brunel Academy students. Building relationships and coaching our students will be at the heart of this work, enriching the experience of all learners, leading them to a bright and aspirational future. This role will be the focal point of communication for our stakeholders: parents/carers, students, staff and Post 16 providers in promoting and celebrating the successes of our student community in their chosen careers.

About the Cabot Learning Federation
