Carer/ Personal Assistant

Are you tired of your 9am - 5pm career and looking for an exciting change?

The role is for a Carer/ Personal Assistant for a young Female, living independently in Staines, Middlesex in a fully adapted home. The job is for someone who can help and support me in all aspects of my daily life, including personal care and feeding. Full support and training will be given to the ideal candidate.
To start as soon as possible - Please note applicants must be resident and eligible to work in the United Kingdom and minimum age must be 21yrs, due to vehicle insurance policy requirements.

Salary: £273.02 per 24 hour shift

About Me:

• I am non-verbal but use a talker to communicate

• I like to live a very independent life

• Very socially orientated and have a busy life

• I love cooking and eating

• Enjoy spending time with my large family & friends

• Love listening to music

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Based in Staines, Middlesex

• 24 hour shift pattern - 2 days available per week

• All aspects of personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)

• Driving my big van. (I like to get out and about.)

• Assistance with looking after / dog walking

• House keeping

• Shopping

• Driving a wheelchair adapted vehicle (Renault Master)

Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience is advantageous but not essential

• Full in-house training will be given

• Full UK driving license (Manual Vehicle)

• Fluent in English

Competencies:

• Must be reliable

• Good time management skills

• Must have common sense

• A good sense of humour
