Site Manager / Caretaker

Venn Group is working with a prestigious prep school to recruit a Caretaker to ensure the safety and presentation of the school site.

Salary: 33k - 35k (dependant on experience)

Duration: permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00

Location: Berkshire

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure cleanliness of site through emptying bins and clearing litter
• Implement and adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures, recording / reporting all maintenance and issues
• Act as the main key holder, closing the site and ensuring security
• Carry out routine inspections of equipment and areas
• Carry out portering duties including moving heavy furniture
• Liaise with external contractors and visitors as necessary

The successful candidate will have:

• Ideally have education experience
• NEBOSH / IOSH Certification
• Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance
