Caretaker

We are looking for an experienced caretaker to join a luxury residential building in Essex. The focus of this role is to facilitate and oversee the day to day running and upkeep of the estate. This is a great role with room for progression and should attract experienced candidates looking for a permanent role to grow in.

Key duties and responsibilties;

• To have a high presence within the estate, ensuring all requests are dealt with effectively
• General DIY, cleaning, liasing with contractors
• Overseeing weekly gardeners (8 ½ acres of beautifully landscaped grounds) so keen eye for gardening or interest would be great
• Local for call outs out of hours, someone who drives and can get to site quickly
• Mechanical and engineering understanding, managing boilers and plant rooms, if no experience, someone who is interested in understanding how these run etc.
• Cleaning of palace (13 apartments) communal areas
• Will mostly be working out on the grounds, but will be provided with an office, mobile, and body worn security camera to ensure communication and safety at all times
  
  

The ideal candidate will have;

• Atleast 3 years previous experience in a residential or similar environment
• Health and Safety knowledge
• Hands on/maintenance/painting & decorating experience
• Have a full, clean UK/EU driving license
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great manners and customer service
• Attention to security around the grounds
