School Caretaker (Part-Time) - Immediate Start

Location: Kingston upon Thames
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 2:00pm (15 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary

Tempest Education is currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to support a welcoming school in Kingston upon Thames. This role is ideal for someone with caretaker, maintenance, facilities, or site assistant experience who is looking for part-time hours and can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out light maintenance and basic repairs around the school

* Ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained

* Performing routine health and safety checks

* Assisting with classroom and event setup when required

* Reporting maintenance issues and hazards

* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

Essential Requirements

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

* Previous caretaker, site assistant, facilities, or maintenance experience

* Good DIY and practical maintenance skills

* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

* Available for an immediate start
