Maintenance Person
Location: Cannock
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour this may increase depending on skill set
Enhanced DBS is required 

Caretaker / Maintenance person 

I am looking for a Caretaker / Maintenance Person to join my client’s team based in the Cannock area. This is a hands on role and is important that the right candidate is maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs around the school.
Liasing with contractors
Sweep and keep outdoor areas clean and tidy.
Ensure the school grounds are well presented.
Complete paint touch-ups and basic decorating when required.
Put up notice boards, displays, shelving, and other fixtures when needed.
Open and secure the school gates at the appropriate times, ensuring they are locked once pupils have entered the school and again after the school day ends.
Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
Support the school with other caretaking and maintenance duties
