Cargo Superintendent / Sampler

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Superintendent to join the team in Immingham. This individual will perform and supervise the sampling of UK Biomass disport Operations & UK storage facilities primarily in  Liverpool.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Required Competencies

• Good timekeeping and time management skills. 


• Handles challenges in a mature manner. 


• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  


• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.


• Full UK Driving License 

Responsibilities

• Effectively Supervise all aspects of vessel discharge operations and sampling.


• Fill in relevant reports in a timely manner.

Required work experience

• Previous work experience as a Sampler or similar will be advantageous.


• Experience in material sampling and inspection practices is preferred.


• Draught survey experience preferred but not essential.
