Role: Carpenter

Rate: £24.14 (PAYE Only)

Location: Ipswich IP164EW

Overtime rate after 39 hours

Hours: 7:00am-18:00 12 days on 2 days off every other weekend off

Duration: Fortel are sourcing experienced carpenters!. Fortel is the largest Midlands based supplier of agency labour to the UK construction industry, providing contractors with pre-briefed, compliant teams formed of trusted and skilled workers for construction and key infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

CSCS Blue or Gold Card
Have a minimum of 4-5 years
Manual Handling
Plant and Vehicle Marshall
Experience in shuttering/formwork carpentry on large construction or civils projects
Right to work in the UK
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Formwork/Carpentry is desirableMain duties:

Using hand and power tools safely
Following strict site safety procedures
Making measurements and preparing the site for woodwork
Designing and installing fitted wooden shelves, cabinets and drywall
Installing fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks and hinges
Select and also evaluate materials for potential defects
Reading and interpreting designs to meet specifications set by ArchitectsWhy work with us?

Concrete Shuttering & Finishing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
