We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about carpentry and education, aiming to inspire and educate the next generation of carpentry experts.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach Level Two Carpentry Apprentices, providing high-quality education and hands-on training.
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department.
• Utilize your industry experience to inspire students and support them in achieving their career and life ambitions.
• Promote the carpentry courses, participating in marketing events and sharing your experiences to attract new students and stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and maintain industry relevance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in carpentry and joinery.
• Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
• Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and motivating students.
• Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records and supporting departmental administrative tasks.
