Carpentry Assessor

Salary: £31,206-£34,965

Location: West Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Carpentry Assessor. You'd be joining the Education Providers highly-regarded Construction team, working alongside other talented teaching & assessing staff passing on their skills to the next generation.

Responsibilities

Track the progress of Level 1,2 and 3 Carpentry students

Make on-site visits to students with work placements and ensure they're applying correct practices.

Carry out marking and assessments.

Mentor learners through their apprenticeship journey

Working closely with employers, you will help develop students skills, knowledge, and behaviours through one-to-one guidance

Qualifications

Ideally Assessing qualifications (A1, TAQA etc.) however this colege is more than happy to work with passionate tradesman looking to step into FE.

Level 3 / Advanced craft in Carpentry or other related qualification of an equal level is essential.
