Carpentry Lecturer – Apprenticeships

Hastings Valley - 2 Days per Week - ASAP Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpentry Lecturer to support apprenticeship delivery at an FE College based in Hastings.

This is a delivery-only position, teaching Site Carpentry apprentices two days per week. There is an option for potentailly having 2 more days assessing in the area.

The Role

* Delivering Site Carpentry to apprenticeship learners

* Delivery-only role

* Start: ASAP

* October half term/Christmas

Requirements

* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry

* This does not have to be an NVQ – other recognised Level 3 Carpentry qualifications can be considered

* Strong practical Site Carpentry knowledge and industry experience

* Previous teaching/training experience would be advantageous

* Ability to confidently deliver practical and theoretical Carpentry sessions

* Ideally an assessor qualification

Rate

Up to approximately £60 per hour, depending on experience and circumstances.

This could suit an experienced Carpentry Lecturer, Trainer or industry professional with teaching experience looking for a part-time FE/apprenticeship position.
