Role overview 

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across the estate. The successful candidate will ensure public spaces, hotel rooms, the golf club and function rooms meet our high standards every day.

Casual Housekeeper — Leonardslee Wine Estate (Mannings Heath)

We are looking for a Casual Housekeeper to join our ranks with availability Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s (with the ability to cover more shifts from September due to maternity cover)

Key duties

• Clean and prepare hotel rooms to standard (bed-making, linen changes, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities)


• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas (lobbies, corridors, restrooms, dining areas)


• Clean and prepare golf club facilities and locker rooms


• Set up, clean and restore function rooms for events (weddings, conferences, private dining)


• Report maintenance issues and inventory shortages to management


• Follow health & safety and sanitation procedures at all times


• Assist with laundry and stock handling as required


• Provide polite, professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential — training provided


• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation


• Good time-management and ability to work independently or as part of a team


• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours


• Physically able to perform manual tasks (standing, lifting, bending)
