Park Ranger

We are searching for Rangers to join the team at assisting in the upkeep of the park facilities and wider maintenance out on site whilst ensuring infrastructure is kept in excellent condition. You will love working outdoors in all weather and interest in fly fishing is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and be as happy doing litter picks and car parking as you are at working on our boats.

Your role will include checking the site for daily safety checks, welcoming our anglers and keeping the park grounds and equipment clean and tidy and interacting with the public. You will also be responsible for carrying out routine repairs as well as recommending improvements that will result in positive customer experiences. From time to time, you will assist other teams in either our shops or cafes. In this role you will be required to drive so a valid driving licence is essential

What does it take to be a Park Ranger?   

Experience in the maintenance and management of country parks and/or fisheries 
Experience in land management and/or water based practical qualification (desirable) 
Excellent customer service skills  
Excellent communication and social skills  
Excellent interpersonal skills  
Ability to be flexible and willingness to learn   
Availability to work weekends   
Ability to work outside in all weather
Show enthusiasm about our parks and ability to share enthusiasm with customers   
Full driving licence required
