Pay: £17.00 per hour

As a Casual Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to provide security services across a portfolio of sites for a world-leading global technology organisation. You will play a vital role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness️

As a Casual Security Officer, you will be working across multiple locations within a designated area. You will also be responsible for conducting patrols, monitoring security systems including CCTV and alarms, controlling site access, and ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions 
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence
• CCTV licence
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Reliable and trustworthy 
• Works well within a team
• Computer literate 
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
