Join a seasoned team of insurance claims professionals as a Claims Adjuster for Casualty claims. The Casualty Adjuster manages all aspects of liability claims across multi-lines. The claims assigned are based on the adjuster’s experience and demonstrated aptitude for handling large or complex matters with minimal supervision. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make data driven decisions independently.


Essential Job Functions:



  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust all casualty claim assignments.

  • Communicate with insured, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, obtain related necessary information to determine coverage/compensability, facts of loss.

  • Maintain Company policy/reputation of fair prompt and equitable settlements.

  • Handle claim related inquiries from agents and serve as an extension of Company’s marketing efforts by providing quality claim service.

  • Provide feedback to Underwriting on current risk selection

  • Comply with all state regulations and guidelines

  • Maintain all licensing and continuing education requirements


To be successful in this role, a candidate should have at least five years of claims experience. A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Candidates should have a proven history of investigating, valuing, negotiation and settling claims. Guidewire Claims Center experience highly preferred. Candidate should have experience and be familiar with litigation and ADR. AIC, CPCU and SCLA designations preferred.
