An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a multi-award-winning Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Team, based in Edinburgh. 

The Role

You will work on high-value personal injury claims, handling cases from policy coverage to litigation. The team focuses on catastrophic injury and large loss, supporting insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations.

This role offers great opportunities for career growth, with exposure to challenging legal issues and the chance to contribute to a growing area of law. Regular communication with clients nationwide and a collaborative, flexible work environment are key aspects of this position.

What’s Required?

• Experience in personal injury or civil litigation
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle complex cases
• A professional approach to client service and meeting SLAs
• An interest in catastrophic injury and large loss work

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload, acting on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured clients
• Conduct investigations, review medical records and assist in court appearances
• Support Partners in business development and maintaining client relationships
• Draft legal documents and provide client advice
