Description
Manage assigned product categories, ensuring availability and optimal stock levels. Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms. Monitor supply chain performance and address any disruptions promptly. Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Prepare regular reports on category performance and provide actionable insights. Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Profile
A successful Category Executive should have:
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management within the Retail industry. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in relevant software or tools for inventory and supply chain management. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. A good understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.Job Offer
Permanent position in the Food-service industry based in Slough. Competitive salary between £28,000 and £30,000, dependent on the level of experience. Opportunities for professional growth and development. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) as a minimum and the opportunity to buy more.
