Quest Search and Selection is currently looking for Category Lead eCommerce Beautyto oversee their Beauty assortment, delivering the best product selection at the most competitive prices for the consumers.

The business is for a retail e-commerce platform with operations in the UK & Europe, who is currently growing their FMCG category team! Their advanced technology offers fast and reliable delivery services, within hours or by the next day. With 1st class, supply chain at its core & cutting-edge digital solutions, this business is renowned for its innovation and excellence, all within a start-up culture.

The roles & responsibilities of this Category Lead eCommerce Beauty role:

• Develop and implement category strategies within everyday branded beauty from the ground up, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end process of sourcing, selecting, and onboarding brands and products, from initial negotiations to final launch.
• Design and enhance category storefronts to improve product discovery and streamline customer navigation..
• Leverage customer insights, behavioural data, and category performance metrics.
• Partner with suppliers and internal teams to plan and deliver high-impact promotional campaigns.
• Contribute innovative ideas to drive category growth and address operational challenges.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and tech teams to ensure alignment across all category initiatives.

The qualifications of this Category Lead eCommerce Beauty Role:

• 8-12 year experience gained within Category Management or Buying.
• Experience within the Retail and eCommerce sectors, with a focus on Beauty or Fashion in the European market bringing brands & of-the-shelf products together!
• Deep market knowledge and challenging conventional approaches to drive innovation products & range and growth in the category.
• Exceptional negotiation skills that deliver strong product margins and compelling customer offers.
• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and highly driven, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communicator and problem-solver.
• Quick to learn and adapt, demonstrating entrepreneurial instincts through strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
