Category Manager IT - 12-month Contract

Exciting opportunity to join an expanding Public Sector Procurement team going through a period of change. We are recruiting for an IT Category Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This key role involves identifying, planning, and delivering benefits for the IT category of spend, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Procurement plan.

In this role you will

• Define, shape and Implement the IT Category Strategy
• Run end-to-end procurements in accordance with the new Procurement Act regulations.
• Identify and manage high-value and high-risk suppliers

We are looking for

• Individuals with Public Sector Procurement experience
• Individuals with previous experience of working within IT Procurement
