Catering Assistant

Starrycare is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to support catering and hospitality services across our client sites. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer care in line with Starrycare’s commitment to quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
  

• Set up and clear dining areas, including tables, counters, and service areas
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
  

• Follow food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times
  

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and service users
  

• Assist with stock rotation, storage, and basic inventory checks
  

• Support chefs and catering staff as required
  

• Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering, Hospitality, or Food Preparation
  

• Understanding of health and safety practices in a kitchen or catering environment
  

• Right to work in the UK
