We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Scarborough, United Kingdom. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food service and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

• Assist in the preparation of delicious meals, snacks, and beverages
• Prepare Salads 
• Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, counter, and dining areas
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and food safety procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with food inventory management and stock rotation
• Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
• Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements when appropriate
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

• Strong salad preparation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in food service
• Excellent cleaning and hygiene practices
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred
• Food safety certification is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
