We're looking for a commercially driven Category Manager with proven experience in the catering/foodservice industry to join a successful, multinational business.

This is a key role with responsibility for category strategy, supplier relationships and delivering sales, margin and profit growth.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver category strategies, ranges, pricing and promotional plans.
Lead supplier negotiations to maximise commercial income, funding, margins and profitability.
Build strong supplier relationships and deliver Joint Business Plans.
Analyse market trends and performance to identify commercial opportunities.
Work with internal teams to improve product availability and customer value.What we're looking for

Proven experience within the catering/foodservice industry, ideally in category management, buying or a commercial role.
Strong commercial skills and a track record of successful negotiations, influencing suppliers and delivering profitable outcomes.
Excellent understanding of pricing, margins, sales and supplier funding.
Strong analytical, relationship-building and influencing skills.
A proactive, results-driven approach with the confidence to challenge and secure the best commercial deals.The opportunity
