We are looking for a Values aligned, passionate and GREAT supervisor to work in our Hatties Restaurant at our sites in Otley and Bingley. You will be working with a GREAT team, and responsible for the day to day operations of the restaurant. Ideally, you will have some experience of working at a supervisory level, but it is not essential that this experience is in the hospitality sector.

1. Oversee and manage the daily running of the catering area efficiently
2. Ensure that customers experience the catering standards and that complaints are handled in accordance with our processes.
3. Ensure all of the team are completing all of the tasks correctly and in a timely fashion.
4. Train and develop the team in the delivery of excellent customer service.
5. To spend time observing and making yourself aware of what is happening across the catering area.
6. Hands out tasks to the team, to not get bogged down in doing low value tasks yourself (unless it is peak time).
7. To build a working understanding of the budgets in place, wages and others to help and support the manager.
8. Motivate the teams to deal with most issues where possible but to always keep the manager informed to be able to support at all times.
9. Deliver in a timely manner and to YGC standards ensuring quality of food that is served.
10. Manage the team to ensure they always deliver our standards.
11. Manage, train and coach staff for each area of their role.
12. Help to do rotas, holidays, sickness and lateness. To be able to deal with each area confidently.
13. Share any company updates/info, financial results and objectives.
14. Provide coaching feedback to improve performance.

4. Ensuring other are doing the doing not yourselves, you need to be the eyes and ears, the face of catering.

6. Ensuring all tills are taken off and accounting for any known discrepancies, informing the cash office.
