Job Title: Band 7 CBT and EMDR Therapist

Trust: Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Studdert Kennedy House

Ward: Beacon Maternal Mental Health

Pay Rates: £25.71 per hour

Length: 3 Months

Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 17:00pm, 37.5 hours per week

In this role, you will:

· You will provide High Intensity Therapy in one or more modalities.

· You will accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.

· You will be assessing patients for suitability for psychological interventions.

· You will undertake patient-centred interviews which identify areas where the patient wishes to see change and/or recovery and make an accurate assessment of risk.

· You will formulate, implement and evaluate high intensity treatments for patients.

What you’ll need—and be able to provide evidence for:

* Qualification from high intensity course for adults in the modality required by the service, either: - High intensity CBT - High Intensity PCE-CfD - High Intensity IPT - High Intensity DIT.

* Full accreditation with BABCP.

* Proven experience in perinatal loss/trauma.

* Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services.

* Experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating key competences as outlined in Roth & Pilling competency framework.

* Experience of successfully treating a range of presenting problems with high intensity therapy in line with NICE.
