CCTV Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team, working across areas of the North West and Yorkshire. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites.
As a minimum, you must have experience with CCTV systems, and a willingness to learn other systems (intruder alarms, access control systems, fire alarms)
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of fire and security systems while building strong relationships with customers.
* Pay: £35,000-£42,000 per annum depending on experience
* Location: Field based, working across areas of the North West and Yorkshire
Key Responsibilities
* Service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems and ideally fire alarms also
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
* Complete all service documentation and reports accurately
* Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards
* Provide excellent customer service on-site
* Support with occasional small installation works when required
* Participate in a shared telephone support call-out rota
Systems Experience:
* CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)
* Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
* Fire Alarms ((BS5839 compliant)
* Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of fire and security systems
* Good understanding of industry standards
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Professional and reliable with good communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to pass security vetting
