CCTV / Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team across West Yorkshire / North West. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of security systems while building strong relationships with customers.

Pay: £37,000-£44,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Travel required around areas of Yorkshire & North-West (vehicle provided)

Key Responsibilities

* Service and maintain CCTV systems

* Experience working with intruder alarms, access control systems and ideally fire alarms also

* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently

* Complete all service documentation and reports accurately

* Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards

* Provide excellent customer service on-site

* Support with occasional small installation works when required

* Participate in a shared telephone support call-out rota

Systems Experience Required

* CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)

It is also preferable if you have experience in the following:

* Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)

* Fire Alarms ((BS5839 compliant)

* Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Strong knowledge of security systems

* Good understanding of industry standards

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

* Professional and reliable with good communication skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to pass security vetting
