CDAE Engineer (Civils Biased)

£70-75 per hour (OUTSIDE IR35)

Grenn Scout have engaged exclusively with Industry leader withing the Energy division, who provide solutions across private networks, renewable energy, battery energy storage solutions (BESS), data centres, HVDC and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Due to con.tinued success winning multiple new projects, they require a CDAE Engineer on an intial 6 month contrat.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake the role of LCDAE in accordance with National Grid TP137.

* Provide design assurance and technical oversight throughout the detailed design phase.

* Review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications and associated design documentation.

* Ensure designs comply with applicable National Grid Technical Procedures, standards and project requirements.

* Review and coordinate multidisciplinary design interfaces.

* Identify technical risks, design compliance issues and departures from applicable standards.

* Support the resolution and close-out of design review comments and technical actions.

* Liaise with engineers, designers, contractors and client stakeholders throughout the design process.

* Support technical and design review meetings as required.

* Maintain appropriate records and evidence of design review and approval activities.

* Provide engineering and design assurance support during the construction phase where required.

* Review technical changes and design amendments arising during construction.
