CDM Principal Designer

A respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with a close-knit team is looking to add a CDM Principal Designer to their London office. The consultancy promotes a 'family feel' and offers genuine flexibility.

The CDM Principal Designer will work across a variety of projects, supporting clients through the full design and construction lifecycle. If you are a self-starter who can work autonomously, then you will thrive in this professionally yet collaborative environment.

The CDM Principal Designer's role

The appointed CDM Principal Designer will:

Carry out Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015
Lead on health and safety in design stages
Liaise with clients and attend design meetings
Produce relevant H&S documentation
Assist with internal training and mentoringThe CDM Principal Designer

4 years' experience in CDM Principal Designer role (essential)
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
APS Membership or TechIOSH (preferred)
Knowledge of public sector procurement (desirable)

Up to £60,000 base salary
