Job Description - Cellar Manager- New Opening

Salary - Up to £14ph Schedule - Full Time
Experience - Previous experience within a quality Restaurant or Pub
JKS are seeking a Cellar Manager to join their exciting new opening in Chiswick, The Hound. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cellar Manager looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group.
This role is a Monday-Friday role, working either 7-3 or 8-4, with lots of room for growth.
The third opening from JKS & Dom Jacobs will be opening on Chiswick High Road, West London. Follwing on from the Success of The Cadogan Arms and The George.
The Cadogan Arms - Voted in the UK's Top 50 Gastro Pubs The Cadogan Arms is a much-loved Chelsea institution, restored to its former glory with a renovation that pays homage to the public house's two centuries spent serving the local community. Comprising a bustling ground floor bar, an opulent dining room, and downstairs space ‘The Rose Room'.
The George is an 18th-century, Grade II listed public house on Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia. Spanning two floors, gilded Victorian mirrors, enamel paintings, and oak panelling remain unchanged, thanks to careful stewardship over the centuries. Large regency windows overlook the hustle and bustle of Great Portland Street, with original architectural details throughout and several private and semi-private spaces available for private hire.
Headed up by Managing Director Dom Jacobs, with food by Culinary Director James Knappett. The menu at The Cadogan Arms & The George focuses on simply prepared British produce, celebrating the provenance of locally sourced fish, meat, and fresh vegetables, as well as sharing roasts on Sunday. Drinks range from cocktails to a carefully curated wine list, and a comprehensive beer list.
We're looking for an experienced Cellar Manager to join our bar team, keeping the cellar running smoothly. You'll have experience working in a quality pub or restaurant, adhering to standard operating and Health and Safety procedures. More importantly we are looking for people for as passionate about food and hospitality as we are!
If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:
Prior experience within a fast-paced quality pub or restaurant;
Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
Able to work autonimously during the day, doing generally 8-4pm Monday-Friday
Passion for food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
Ability to move kegs and lift heavy boxes regularly
The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;
