Job Title: Centre Lathe Operator / Assembler
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week (Day Shift)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 12:30

An established Coventry-based engineering company is seeking a moderately skilled Centre Lathe Operator / Assembler to join our production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with foundational machining experience looking to develop their skills with further training.Key Responsibilities

* Operating manual centre lathes to produce engineering components.

* Assembling mechanical parts and components according to specifications.

* Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.

* Conducting quality checks on your own work to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating a centre lathe.

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

* Proficient in using micrometers and vernier calipers for measurement.

* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn assembly processes.
