Change and Transformation Manager

Our client is an FCA-authorised consumer finance lender. In two years it has changed from a traditional business into a modern, tech-led one. Now it's building a fully digital, direct-to-consumer brand and taking it to market online.

The Role

This is a new leadership role at the heart of the technology and change function. You'll lead a team of six and turn strategy into delivery. You'll also be second in command to the Head of Change, so will be trusted and given the autonamy to make decisions you believe in.

Responsibilities

You will lead the team day to day, taking responsibility for line management, development and acting as the first point of escalation.
You’ll manage the team’s delivery, including sprint planning, delivery calendars, milestones and roadmaps.
You’ll take ownership of information security, helping to establish and embed security practices across the business with full backing from the wider leadership team.
You’ll help shape the technology infrastructure, making sure it can support the business as it continues to grow.
You’ll identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI, focusing on practical changes that make a genuine difference.
And importantly, you’ll build and develop a high-performing team, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged to think bigger and new starters are set up for success.

What We're Looking For

You've managed people in a technical or multi-disciplinary team
You've got security experience of any kind: cyber, infrastructure, Microsoft or Azure security, Cyber Essentials or ISO audits. This is the skill the team needs most
You understand infrastructure and how it supports a growing business
You've delivered in sprints or worked in an agile way
You coach rather than command, and you enjoy helping others grow
