The Role
As a Change Manager, you will be part of a major digital transformation supporting the transformation leading the coordination, assessment and the delivery of change activity.

Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the day to day operation and implementation of the Change Request process, ensuring that all changes to IT services and infrastructure are implemented efficiently, with minimal disruption and alignment with ITIL best practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and managing Change Requests (CRs) from initial submission and triage through to successful delivery, ensuring agreed timescales and quality standards are met


• Assessing the validity and feasibility of Change Requests, liaising closely with programme teams and key stakeholders to support effective decision-making and delivery


• Maintaining Change Management processes and documentation, enabling accurate progress tracking and adherence to established policies, procedures and Configuration Management requirements


• Monitoring and improving Change Management performance through KPIs, SLA/OLA targets and continual improvement activities, driving greater efficiency, effectiveness and customer service


• Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to align Change Management processes, providing effective reporting and communications while maintaining contractual and regulatory compliance


• Managing process quality and adoption through audits, quality checks, training and stakeholder awareness, supporting colleagues with new and updated Change Management capabilities and procedures

Essential experience of the Change Manager: 

• Strong understanding of change management principles


• Previous experience in IT change management or a related field


• Prior experience working in the public sector, preferably Defence


• Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC remedy etc..)


• The ability to work effectively in a team environment


• Strong communication and people skills

Essential qualifications for the Change Manager:

• ITIL certification (Foundation Minimum)

This role is 37 hours per week based at our customer site in Corsham and is fully on-site.
