Job Description - Channel and Editorial Advisor

About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

As Channel and Editorial Advisor, you will work closely with the Channel and editorial manager and colleagues across the firm. You will:

  • Draft, edit and review digital content, including web copy, news updates, internal announcements and multimedia materials, for the intranet, newsletters and other channels.
  • Support the management of content calendars, production schedules and approval workflows.
  • Assist with commissioning and coordinating multimedia content, liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor content performance using digital analytics tools and support regular reporting to inform decision making.
  • Ensure content complies with firm guidelines, quality standards, accessibility requirements and relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Help maintain and update editorial best practice documentation and content guidelines.
  • Respond to editorial requests and queries from business teams and content contributors.
  • Proactively review digital channels and identify opportunities to improve content and user experience.
  • You will report to the Channel and editorial manager and be a key point of contact for editorial support across the firm.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Experience in content creation, editorial support or digital publishing, ideally in a large or professional services environment.
  • A good working knowledge of editorial processes, content management systems and digital communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to interpret and present data to support decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple content requests and deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a clear, concise and audience-focused style.
  • Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • A flexible, proactive approach, with curiosity and a desire to learn and continuously improve.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.

Our benefits:

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
