Job Description - Chaplain

Chaplain required to support an established Christian Charity in what will be a part time 20 hours per week position, Monday - Thursday, 11am - 4pm. This position is paying an annual salary of £20,000 working 20 hours a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to provide spiritual support, including the provision of prayer and public worship, and is open to a candidate with a strong Christian faith, and a committed ecumenist.

Duties:

  • Providing pastoral care
  • Represent the charity in local chaplaincy, welfare matters
  • Be available for provide spiritual support to visitors from around the world
  • Participate and pursue fundraising opportunities

Experience required:

  • Possess a strong Christian faith
  • Must be a car driver with manual licence
  • An effectivecommunicator
  • A committedecumenist
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
