Chartered Financial Planner to manage £35m+ of AUM

We have worked closely with this Chartered Wealth Management firm for over 10 years and have seen them grow organically year on year in that time. They are a multi award winning independent firm that have no desire to sell to a consolidator and can offer Advisers a route to Partnership. One of their highest billing Partners/Financial Advisers is now looking to hand over circa £35m of AUM initially to an experienced Chartered Financial Adviser, as they now have too many clients to manage.

Once the successful applicant has met and built meaningful relationships with these clients, they will then look to hand over another tranche of clients. The firm prides itself on the high quality no jargon based and ethical advice they provide and as a result of this, a substantial percentage of their new business is via referrals and recommendations. If you don’t like the business development side of Financial Advice, but enjoy the client interaction, where you are making a real deference to them, giving truly holistic financial advice and intergenerational planning to them and their family, then this would be an excellent career move for you.

You will be working closely with a very entrepreneurial and motivational Partner, who has a real passion for the indurtsy and wants to help support and grow the next generation of Senior Financial Advisers within the business. The role has the added benefit of offering a route through to becoming a Partner and full Paraplanning support is provided.

To be eligible for this role you will either need to be fully Chartered or one exam away, be technically competent and have circa 2-3 years plus of experience of giving practical financial advice. It is anticipated that earnings will exceed circa £140k around year 3, the role can also be either hybrid or fully remote, but you must be able to come to London to attend client meetings from time to time.
