My client are an independent wealth planning firm based in Kent who I have met and placed several staff with. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of clients assets ranging from £150k - £5m+. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes. They have very longstanding relations with a solicitor practices who refer business to them.

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Chartered Financial Planner who will manage some existing clients. However they are keen to recruit an adviser who is keen to generate some new business and seeking to attend networking events, conferences etc. You will be keen to build relations with businesses and stakeholders across Kent and have a desire to broaden the reach and scope of the business further. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably Chartered or working towards Chartered status with a demonstrable track record of generating new business. You will have dedicated admin and paraplanning support.
