Chartered Planning Consultant

Planning Consultant / Senior / Associate – Newcastle 
Salary: £50K + bonus + full benefits package
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

The Opportunity A well-established, multidisciplinary property consultancy is looking to strengthen its Planning team with the appointment of a Planning Consultant, Senior or Associate (level dependent on experience).

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team working across a diverse pipeline of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. You’ll play a key role in delivering expert planning advice while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

The Role
Managing planning applications from inception through to determination
Providing strategic planning advice to a broad client base
Supporting and leading on development plan representations
Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Identifying and securing new business opportunities
(Senior/Associate level) Supporting team leadership, mentoring and project oversightAbout You
MRTPI chartered (essential)
Experience within planning consultancy or a local authority environment
Strong knowledge of development management and planning policy
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
