We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join an established structural engineering team based in the WR13 area.

The role would suit an experienced structural engineer looking to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects, providing technically sound and commercially practical structural solutions from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and deliver structural engineering solutions across a range of projects.

* Prepare and review structural calculations, specifications and technical reports.

* Produce and review structural drawings and details.

* Assess existing structures and recommend appropriate solutions.

* Liaise with architects, contractors, clients and other consultants.

* Attend site visits, inspections and meetings where required.

* Manage structural engineering projects from initial design through to completion.

* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

* Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.

* Review and approve technical work where appropriate.

* Help maintain high standards of technical quality across projects.

Requirements

* Chartered Structural Engineer status with the relevant professional institution.

* Strong experience in structural engineering design and consultancy.

* Competent with structural calculations and technical design.

* Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.

* Experience working with a range of structural materials and construction methods.

* Strong communication and client-facing skills.

* Ability to manage projects and work independently.

* Proficient with relevant structural design and engineering software.
