Chef – Luxury Care Home | Full-Time | £15 per Hour
Our client is looking for a talented and compassionate Chef to join their high-quality luxury care home. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional with experience in healthcare, hospitality, or residential care settings, who is passionate about creating nutritious, well-balanced meals for older adults.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Chef in a care home, hospital, or similar catering environment
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
First Aid Certificate (preferred)
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Catering or Food Preparation
Understanding of elderly nutrition, texture-modified diets, and allergen management
Strong communication and organisational skills
Knowledge of health and safety standards within a professional kitchen

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for residents, tailored to their dietary and cultural needs
Plan seasonal menus, including meals for individuals with allergies, food intolerances, and special dietary requirements (e.g. soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals)
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including hygiene, food storage, and inventory control
Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times
Work closely with care and nursing staff to support residents' nutritional and hydration needs
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff to deliver a consistent, high-quality food service
