Location: Royston SG8
Salary: £15.69 incl hol

This is a permanent position

Working hours are 7am till 3pm/3.30pm. Monday to friday

Candidate MUST have a valid DBS.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team in Royston SG8 . The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cooking and as a Chef , ensuring that all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including basic cooking tasks, assembling sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Cooking: Perform cooking duties as required, ensuring that food is cooked to the correct temperature, taste, and presentation standards.
Kitchen Assistance: Support the kitchen team by assisting with food prep, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning work surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience as a chef or a lead cook
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided if necessary).
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.Benefits:
