We are looking for a passionate and motivated Chef Assistant to join our Culinary Services team. The successful candidate will work closely with our chefs to prepare high-quality meals, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure efficient kitchen operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves the culinary arts and is eager to develop their skills.
Working hours & Salary: Monday to Friday 6:30am-3pm. £28,000-£30,000 per annum.
Role Duties:
Assist the head chef with daily food preparation tasks.
Prepare ingredients and assist in the presentation and plating of dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and storage areas.
Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitoring stock control.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Support the culinary team during catering events and special functions.
