Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Golders Green

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week, 35 weeks per year

About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie with a passion for exceptional food and service to join our team at one of our prestigious independent schools.

This independent school caters for day pupils and operates Monday to Friday, offering an excellent work-life balance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Chef de Partie to develop their career within the education catering sector and contribute to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Job Description

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications
  • Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and nutritional balance
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as required
  • Support junior kitchen staff and help foster a positive team environment
  • Work efficiently to ensure meal service runs smoothly and on time
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Level 2 or 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an educational or contract catering setting (preferred but not essential)
