Chef de Partie – Job Specification

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate the ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present menu items to the highest standards

*

Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety within the kitchen

*

Carry out and record daily temperature checks for hot and cold food, storage areas, and deliveries

*

Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing procedures during and at the end of shifts

*

Support colleagues and contribute positively to a busy kitchen environment

*

Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times

*

Undertake additional duties as required by the Head Chef or management team

Requirements

*

Previous experience working in a similar chef role is essential

*

Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations

*

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

*

Reliable, organised, and able to use initiative

*

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

*

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential

*

NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous, although strong practical experience will also be considered
