We're recruiting a Chef at ATC Pirbright to work within a well-organised military kitchen, offering consistent weekend shifts and excellent hourly pay. This is a great opportunity for a disciplined and reliable kitchen professional who enjoys structure, with the potential to move into a permanent role.

£14.88 per hour plus £1.80 holiday pay (first 12 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Chef in this role, you'll support a smooth and efficient kitchen by:

Running your own section within a structured kitchen environment
Preparing and presenting meals to consistent, high standards
Organising mise en place to ensure efficient service
Supporting and supervising junior kitchen staff
Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Monitoring stock levels, portion control, and waste
Working closely with the team to maintain consistency and efficiency

What we're looking for:

To succeed as a Chef, you'll bring:

Solid experience, ideally as a Chef de Partie
Ability to work well within a structured, disciplined environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
The ability to remain calm under pressure
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
Confidence supporting junior team members
A reliable and professional approach
