Chef Manager - School Hours

A fantastic part-time Chef Manager job in Wilmslow, paying £16 per hour, has become available for a lovely little community café situated within an adult education centre.

This role would be perfect for someone who has experience a Chef, a passion for food and enjoy the responsibility of running a small kitchen… but would love the work life balance of working Monday to Friday daytime hours, term-time only. Working alongside two front of house staff, the Café offers a small selection of Sandwiches, Cakes, Soup and a Hot ‘dish of the day’ etc.

School Hours Chef Manager job in Wilmslow, Highlights:

Permanent position.
£16 per hour.
Monday to Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm (25 hours per week)
Term time only (39 weeks per year)
Free parking available on-site, NEST pension scheme, annual leave allowance.
Bright and open kitchen space in excellent condition, small in size but it has very sufficient equipment.
School Hours Chef Manager job in Wilmslow, Role Overview:

This is essentially a single person kitchen operation, working alongside two front of house staff. While the menu offering is modest in size, you will have the autonomy of creating a wholesome selection of hot lunches, fresh soup, baked treats and sandwiches.

In addition to the overall objective of providing a tasty selection of food, it will also be your responsibility to maintain/deliver other aspects of the role including keeping the kitchen clean and tidy to a 5* EHO standard, purchasing the ingredients supplies, communicating and managing allergens, all relevant health & safety requirements and daily checks etc.
