Chef - Tandoori

Position: Specialist Tandoori Chef

Employer: Rajmahal Indian Restaurant

Location: Yaxley, Peterborough

Salary: ranging from £22,000 to £25,000

Working days: 6-day week 

Bonus: Free accommodation available close to restaurant (if needed)

Benefits: 21 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer’s pension contribution, Chef’s uniform and meals on duty

Long term prospects: Higher salary, promotion (subject to performance and length of time at company) 

Rajmahal is an Indian authentic cuisine restaurant based in Yaxley, Peterborough which is family run and has been running for over 3 years under previous management and name. We are currently looking for a Tandoori Chef with an immediate start.

You need to have a proven track record working in restaurants, able to work in a busy kitchen to the highest of standards.

Someone who is hands on with cooking and enjoys working in a fast paced environment and
takes pride in plating, quality and taste of every dish leaving the kitchen.

A minimum of level 2 food safety and Ideally a minimum of 1 year experience.

Able to communicate in English and has the right to work in the UK.

Working in a team and adjusting to the needs of the business.
