Chef/Cook (All-Rounder) Temporary Role (3 Months)

Location: Clocktower Café, Leonardslee Gardens, Lower Beeding, West Sussex
Schedule: Foresee a schedule of Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months, with the possibility to extend

We’re looking for a hands-on Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team at the Clocktower Café at Leonardslee Gardens. This is an immediate start role, ideal for someone who enjoys being a true all-rounder in a welcoming and fast-paced café environment.

You’ll assist with prep work, cleaning, and kitchen porter duties, and support the team to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the chef team with food prep and service


• Taking on KP duties when needed (dishwashing, general cleaning)


• Being a dependable team player who’s happy to jump in wherever help is needed


• Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong team player with a “muck in” attitude


• Previous kitchen or café experience is a plus
