Chemical Delivery Class 2 Driver

Atana Limited part of the Marlowe Environmental Services is looking for an experienced Chemical Delivery Class 2 Driver who will be ideally based in the Coalville area and will be required to travel to sites in the UK.

To deliver chemicals via drop off on pallets to customer or pumping into customer storage tanks via IBC totes.

Key Requirements-

• Safely deliver hazardous goods to various locations around the UK.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Manage your own time in accordance to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Checking load manifests.
• Loading vehicle on making sure loads are safe and secure.
• Delivering in the most efficient manner.
• Ensure Health and Safety and SOP’s are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively to planner and operations teams.
• Sign of COSHH assessments.
• Communicate effectively
• Drive a Fork Lift Counter-balance truck
• Carry out IBC Inspections
• To fully understand and be able to implement spillage procedures.

Requirements

·        The successful candidate will hold a valid ADR licence

·        They will have a clear understanding of the importance of working safely with hazardous chemicals and need to be physically fit

·        Driver must demonstrate a high level of driving competence as well as being flexible

·        Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure

·        Have a good eye for detail and be methodical in their approach with good organisational skills

·        Ensure that vehicle checks and driving card/ tacho  are kept up to date
