Field-Based Chemical Hygiene Specialist - Care Sector

£35,000 + Benefits | South of England

Are you passionate about improving hygiene standards in vulnerable environments? We're looking for a proactive and technically minded professional to join our field-based team, supporting care homes across the South of England.

In this role, you'll ensure cleaning chemicals are used safely, effectively, and in full compliance with industry regulations. You'll work closely with care home teams, providing training, advice, and hands-on support to improve infection control and operational efficiency. You'll also install, maintain, and optimise dosing equipment to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

• Visiting care home sites to assess cleaning protocols and chemical usage
• Recommending and implementing tailored solutions to meet compliance and hygiene needs
• Training staff on safe handling and application of cleaning products
• Installing and maintaining dosing systems
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support
• Staying up to date with relevant hygiene regulations and standards

What we're looking for:

• Experience with cleaning chemical systems or hygiene protocols (healthcare or care sector experience is a plus, but full training provided)
• Hands-on skills with equipment installation and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to train non-technical staff
• A customer-focused approach and willingness to travel extensively across the South
