Chemical Laboratory Technician Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 DOE + 5% Performance Bonus Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician or Chemical Process Technician looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturer where quality, innovation and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do? Working within the Quality team, you'll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by carrying out laboratory testing, monitoring chemical processes and ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality standards. What you'll be doing Monitoring and maintaining chemical parameters across powder coating pre-treatment, tin-plating and resin filling processes Carrying out routine laboratory testing including chemical concentration analysis, pH, conductivity, temperature monitoring and chemical titrations Recording, analysing and reporting laboratory results accurately Investigating process deviations and supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions Making routine chemical additions and bath adjustments to maintain process performance Supporting continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and COSHH requirements Maintaining a clean, organised and safe laboratory environmentWhat we're looking forWe're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within a manufacturing, laboratory or chemical process environment. You'll ideally have:
Experience carrying out routine laboratory or chemical testing Knowledge of chemical analysis techniques such as pH testing, conductivity and titrations Excellent attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem solving Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively A proactive attitude and willingness to learnIt would also be advantageous if you have:
